Relocating
Relocating to Hershey & Central Pennsylvania
A new place. A new chapter. Let's make it feel like home.
Making Your Move a Little Easier
Moving to a new area is exciting, but there's a lot to figure out. Where should you live? Which communities might be a good fit? How do you find a home when you're hundreds or even thousands of miles away?
I've experienced that uncertainty myself. Having lived in several states before making Hershey my home, I understand what it's like to arrive somewhere unfamiliar and start building a life.
Whether you're relocating for work, family, retirement, or a change of scenery, I want to help you feel comfortable with your decisions and excited about where you're going.
Getting to Know Your New Community

Before we start looking at houses, I like to help my clients get a feel for the area.
One of my favorite parts of relocation is providing personalized community tours. We'll explore neighborhoods, commute routes, parks, shopping, restaurants, and whatever else matters to your everyday life.
Hershey may be the reason you're considering a move, but there are wonderful communities throughout Central Pennsylvania, each offering something different. Sometimes the place a client ends up loving isn't the one they originally had in mind.
I tailor these tours to your interests and the time you have available. Even if you're only visiting for a day or two, we can cover quite a bit and help you begin to picture what life here might look like.
Finding Your Home from Anywhere in the World
I've helped clients purchase homes while living across the country and even halfway around the world. I understand that traveling back and forth for showings isn't always possible, especially when you're managing a move, a career transition, and everything else happening in your life.
For clients who can't attend showings in person, I visit properties and create detailed, narrated videos that go well beyond the listing photographs.
These aren't your typical real estate videos. I get into the details, showing you the good, the bad, and sometimes the downright ugly. If there's mold in the shower, you're going to see it! If there's an odor, I will describe it! My job isn't to sell you on a house. It's to help you see it as if you were standing there with me.
I'll also show you the layout, condition, surroundings, and other details that could influence your decision. If something concerns me, we'll talk about it.
Videos can't replace professional inspections or seeing a property in person, but combined with careful research, clear communication, and the right professionals, they can make purchasing from a distance much more manageable.
Coordinating the Details While You're Away
Relocating involves more than finding the right house. There's financing, inspections, insurance, movers, contractors, utilities, and a long list of things that need attention, often while you're still living somewhere else.
I help connect clients with local professionals, coordinate appointments, and keep communication moving throughout the purchase.
Sometimes my clients purchase a home before they're able to move in. I've helped check on properties, arrange lawn care, collect packages, coordinate contractors, and handle unexpected little issues that are difficult to manage from another state or country.
These may seem like small things, but when you're far away, having someone local who knows your situation and is willing to help can make a tremendous difference.
A Special Connection to Penn State Health

Before becoming a Realtor, I worked in graduate medical education at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
That experience gave me a valuable understanding of academic medicine and the unique considerations physicians, faculty, and other healthcare professionals face when relocating for a new position.
Today, I continue to work with incoming medical professionals, including providing personalized community tours for faculty candidates during their interview visits.
I've always believed that someone considering a move to Hershey should have an opportunity to experience more than the hospital and their hotel room. I enjoy introducing people to the surrounding communities and helping them see what life outside of work could look like.
Physician and healthcare relocation is one of my specialties, but the same level of personal attention is available to anyone considering a move to Central Pennsylvania.
Helping You Get Settled
Once you've arrived, there are still plenty of things to figure out.
I provide relocation resources to help with practical details like utilities, vehicle registration, local services, recreation, and everyday conveniences.
And if you're looking for a reliable plumber, a good place to take the dogs, or simply trying to find your way around, I'm happy to point you in the right direction.
I know how long it can take for a new place to feel familiar, and I enjoy helping people discover everything this area has to offer.
Let's Talk About Your Move
Whether you've already accepted a new position, are considering relocating, or are simply curious about living in Central Pennsylvania, I'd be happy to hear what you're thinking.
You don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out. We can start with where you are now and work from there.
